Thank you for the opportunity to introduce you to VALHALLA RIDGE FARM TOY FOX TERRIERS! (x)
In 1958, I was fortunate enough to acquire my first Toy Fox Terrier when I was 7 years old. "Poochie" was my constant companion and best friend all through my childhood. She shared rides on my pony, rode my motorbike with me, and slept cuddled up right next to me every night. "Poochie" passed away at the age of 18 and is still sorely missed. She was one of the finest "souls" I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
After almost 40 years of raising a variety of dogs, I came back to my "first love" - Toy Fox Terriers - with no regrets. The dogs have become an integral part of our family and, thankfully, my full-time profession.
Karen. Karen, 40 years later. Our Toy Fox Terriers are small but confident, intelligent and easily trained, and their outgoing loving, personalties win the hearts of everyone who meets them. They are the perfect pet for today's active family's lifestyle. They love children, travel, and get along well with other pets. These attributes, combined with the hardiness of the breed and minimal maintenance create a wonderful little companion who quickly becomes an invaluable member of the family.
Our puppies are "home raised" and are special from the very beginning of their lives. We firmly believe that the combination of lots of loving human contact and socialization with other dogs makes for a confident, intelligent, well-rounded animal.
Our dogs are Champion and National Grand Champion bloodlines and we are extremely diligent with our breeding program. We have the capability of emailing digital pictures of the dogs and would be happy to send you some pictures if you would like. The new owners will receive a United Kennel Club temporary registration papers and medical record. In addition, we do have some dogs that are dual registered with the American Kennel Club and United Kennel Club and are looking forward to seeing the babies from them.
Although we have had extensive experience with air transport of dogs and have had excellent results with that, we prefer to avoid that if at all possible, especially with the increased airline security regulations. However, shipping is available but it does require additional expense and detailed arrangements. Please contact us for further information.
Our farm is located approximately 40 miles south of Cleveland and 30 miles west of Akron, Ohio. We are only 3 miles off the highway and very accessible. We welcome visitors and love to show off "our babies". Please contact us to arrange a date and time to visit - we love to share our "extended family"!!!
Once again, thank you for your interest. I'm sure that you will be just as delighted with your new "best friend" as I have been!
